Day Program and Community-Based Services

Referral and Intake Process
  • The referring agency will make a preliminary referral based on Central Valley Training Center’s program services and the individual’s needs.

  • Required information/paperwork will be requested by CVTC from the referring agency.

  • The individual and parent/authorized representative(s) may take a tour of the program and request further information about CVTC.

  • The individual may choose to participate in a “guest” day to help determine if the program will meet her/his needs.

  • Upon the individual’s selection to attend CVTC through individual choice and/or consultation with her/his support group or interdisciplinary team, the referring agency will contact CVTC to schedule an intake meeting.

  • CVTC will conduct an intake meeting at which time necessary referral source documentation will be reviewed for completeness and CVTC intake forms will be completed.

  • A start date will be determined.

The individual will start down a road towards success.

Erin Goudreau
Program Director

Erin received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Western Michigan University in Behavior Analysis in 2000. She then went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Behavioral Psychology in 2010 from the University of the Pacific. During this time she worked in several internship settings, including the UOP psychology clinic as a therapist, and at Stockton Unified School System as a Behavioral Specialist. Erin worked on several research projects that identified effective behavioral/psychological treatments for individuals with special needs. She brought her knowledge to CVTC as the program director for the Stockton Day Program in December of 2009. Prior to coming to CVTC, Erin worked at the regional center for 3 ½ years as a case manager for adults with Developmental Disabilities.

Erin enjoys reading, camping, spending time with her family, and going to jam band concerts and festivals!
